PROJECT OVERVIEW
The CPV Fairview Energy Center (CPV Fairview) generates enough reliable electricity on average to power more than 1 million Pennsylvania homes and offset carbon dioxide emissions equivalent of taking more than 360,000 cars off the road each year. Through our use of General Electric’s (GE) advanced power generation technology, CPV Fairview provides safe, reliable, cost-effective and environmentally responsible power for PA. CPV Fairview pairs well with less reliable power sources like wind and solar because it provides a backstop to maintain grid reliability when the wind or sun cuts out.
