Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) Announces New Leadership for Renewables 

Silver Spring, MD, April 23, 2025 — Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Resca to Executive Vice President of CPV Renewable Power. In this new role, Resca will oversee the company’s existing renewable operating assets, development pipeline, and renewable construction.

Resca joined CPV in 2005, serving in various development roles across the company’s renewable and low carbon businesses. His extensive experience and approach to development have been instrumental in driving CPV’s success and the buildout of its diverse portfolio of projects to ensure that reliable generation is available to meet growing demand.

CPV Renewable Power’s growing business is comprised of nine operating and under construction projects, totaling over 700 MW-ac of wind and solar capacity. The company has also identified a near-term pipeline totaling ~4 GW-ac and consisting of more than 15 wind, solar, and co-located battery storage projects.
