PROJECT OVERVIEW
The CPV Woodbridge Energy Center (CPV Woodbridge) generates enough reliable electricity on average to power more than 700,000 New Jersey homes and offset carbon dioxide emissions equivalent of taking more than 1.4 million cars off the road each year. Through our use of General Electric’s (GE) advanced power generation technology, CPV Woodbridge provides safe, reliable, cost-effective and environmentally responsible power for NJ. CPV Woodbridge pairs well with less reliable power sources like wind and solar because it provides a backstop to maintain grid reliability when the wind or sun cuts out.
