CPV Prairie Dock Solar is a proposed 300 MWac photovoltaic solar project located on approximately 1,600 acres near Odell in Livingston County, Illinois. The project will create a new source of clean, renewable energy for the region while improving the grid’s energy reliability. Once operational, CPV Prairie Dock Solar will produce up to 600,000 mega-watt hours (MWh) annually; enough to power more than 57,000 homes.
CPV Prairie Dock Solar will provide significant local economic benefits to Livingston County and the surrounding communities. These benefits include job creation, increased local tax revenue, and support for sustainable energy initiatives.
CPV Prairie Dock will be reviewed by relevant agencies as well as require environmental and impact studies.
