In accordance with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Administrative Order 2021-25, Competitive Power Ventures, Inc. (“CPV”) will hold a public information session for the purpose of receiving oral and/or written comments on its proposal to construct the Keasbey Energy Center, located in Woodbridge Township. CPV has applied for a modification to the Title V Permit (Permit Application Number: BOP 160004 / Program Interest Number: 18940), a NJPDES construction permit, and plans to apply for a waterfront development permit. The session will be held via virtual attendance/Teams on 2/28/2023, from 6:00 PM EST to 8:00 PM via Teams. CPV will also receive and consider written comments for 60 days. The written comment period will start on 1/27/2023 and will end at 5:00 pm on 3/31/2023. The proposed Keasbey Energy Center is a proposed 657- megawatt combined-cycle natural gas electric generating facility, located on a brownfield site and is a reuse of a long abandoned chemical plant in the Keasbey section of Woodbridge, NJ. The project is adjacent to CPV’s existing Woodbridge Energy Center.
