CPV is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Finance team in our Braintree, MA office (office location of the CEO, CFO, and heads of development and M&A). The Finance team is responsible for the financial management of CPV’s own portfolio of power plants and power plants owned by third parties, detailed financial analysis of growth areas including development and M&A opportunities, and corporate financial reporting for CPV itself to the CPV Board of Managers. This Senior Associate position will help drive capital investment decisions by analyzing M&A opportunities, and support CPV’s Board of Managers through the preparation and consolidation of financial projections for CPV’s numerous business lines (currently including thermal and renewable power generation portfolios, asset management services business, and development activity). This high visibility position within CPV represents a true growth opportunity for a driven individual with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, an ability to move quickly and multitask, and a capacity for prioritizing multiple workstreams involving highly confidential information.

Perform due diligence and quantitative and qualitative analysis in support of M&A opportunities to help drive investment decisions;
Support the generation of CPV corporate budgets and other presentations to the CPV Board of Managers through financial analysis and drafting of documentation and PowerPoint presentations;
Collaborate closely with other departments within the Company and work with senior professionals to deliver final work products as appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree with relevant Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineering orientation
1-3 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with a strong desire to learn and succeed
Strong oral and written English skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and be able to manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to deliver high quality work product under strict timelines
Ability to perform at a high level in front of senior management
Must pass a pre-employment background and financial credit check
